Description
The large family of benzoins includes many natural treasures. Here, Styrax benzoin, native to the islands of Oceania, produces its grey-silver resin through exudation. This variety delivers a very amber and mineral fragrance, noticeably similar to that of Ambergris. In the past it was combined and burned as an offering to Jupiter, king of the Roman Gods.
